AscendRx, Inc., a software company spun out of the Medical University of South Carolina, has announced that it will operate under a new name and will be known as QuicksortRx Inc. This rebranding represents the company as it helps pharmacy supply chain teams make faster and more informed decisions for their health systems. The company’s ownership and staff have not changed.
CEO Jonathan Yantis stated:
“It is important that our brand represents our company’s vision to empower pharmacy leadership and staff with better technology, and to elevate what matters most in their daily supply chain work. We are excited to move forward with our new name, QuicksortRx, as we continue to serve health systems and decrease the cost of healthcare.”
QuicksortRx Inc was founded by pharmacists and technologists from the Medical University of South Carolina who understand the potential in the health system supply chain and develop solutions to unlock it. QuicksortRx software identifies medication savings in real-time, streamlining execution without increasing staff workload.
